Seaboard Bungalow

Seaboard Bungalow is a 4-star resort in Haad Yao, Koh Phangan, with rooms beside the beach and balconies overlooking the garden or sea.

Seaboard Bungalow pairs a bungalow setting with direct access to the sand. Its room selection includes garden-view categories as well as sea-view options, and each room has air conditioning, a private bathroom, a balcony, a seating area and a refrigerator. Layouts accommodate two or three people, with twin, double and triple arrangements. Among the options are a two-person sea-view room with an extra-large double bed and a three-person garden-view room with three single beds.

Outdoor features include a private beach area, garden, patio and terrace. You can dine at the beachfront restaurant, which serves Italian and Thai food, or visit the bar; room service is also available. Snorkelling, diving and yoga classes are among the activities, while live music, a tour desk, free WiFi and free private parking add to the on-site facilities. Haad Yao Beach is 50 m away, with additional beaches along the west coast.

The six room categories measure 28.5 to 30 m² and accommodate two or three people. All have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a bath and shower, a balcony, a seating area and a refrigerator. Garden views appear across the range; selected rooms also have a sea view, and some have a terrace.

Bed arrangements range from a single bed paired with a large or extra-large double bed to a single extra-large double bed in the two-person room. The triple garden-view category has three single beds. The names distinguish twin, double, triple and deluxe options, with garden- and sea-view rooms available; several sea-view categories also include a garden outlook. The 30 m² options are a superior triple room and a deluxe double room.

Guests can eat at the restaurant and bar; the beachfront restaurant serves Italian and Thai dishes, and room service is available. The outdoor grounds include a private beach area, garden, patio, balcony spaces and a terrace. Free private parking is available on site, while WiFi is free in all areas.

For activities, the resort has snorkelling and diving, yoga classes, and live music or performances. A tour desk and safety deposit box are also provided. Room facilities include air conditioning, a refrigerator, seating area, wardrobe and private bathrooms with a bath and shower. Non-smoking rooms are available. Seaboard Bungalow faces Haad Yao on Koh Phangan’s west coast, a sandy bay on the island’s sunset-facing shore. Haad Yao Beach is 50 m away; Mushmushon Beach is 250 m away, and Son Beach is 300 m away. Chao Phao Beach is 850 m from the resort. The coast here is known for swimming, with other beach coves along the west shore. Restaurants and a convenience store are within a short walk, and the resort grounds open directly onto the sand.

Thong Sala, the island’s port town and main ferry arrival point, is about 7.5 km from the resort. The drive from Thong Sala Pier takes around 20 minutes, and shared songthaew pick-ups from the town serve Haad Yao. Koh Phangan has no airport, so visitors arriving by air reach a port on Koh Samui or the mainland and continue by boat to Thong Sala before travelling across the island. Free private parking is available on site, and bike rentals are available near the resort.

Food Market and Wat Sri Thanu are each 1.8 km away, and Baan Sri Thanu is 1.9 km away; Phaeng Waterfall is 6.7 km inland. You can snorkel and dive from the resort’s beach area, while Haad Son and Haad Salad are other west-coast beaches. The Gulf coast is generally driest and calmest from February to April. October to December is wetter, with rougher seas particularly on the east coast in November and December.
